Erich and Alli and Brookes and I are planning a diversion for August: an escape to the Water Slide Park. We saw one that looked great from the freeway- I-5 as you go up to Seattle (from Portland) on the east side of the road. Is it this one? (Enchanted Village/Wild Waves presented by Six Flags). Do you know? Do you know if it’s any good? I’m sure, however bad it is, the six year old will delight in it. (Yes, grandma, I’ll take pictures).

The last time I made a date to go to a Water Park, I was living with my Mom in Seattle (for the summer). We went to a park outside of Issaquah, and then we decided to return before I flew back to Anchorage. Alas, the week before we were to go, I fell off a skateboard and broke my ankle. Did that stop the rest of them? Not hardly. (I’m still resentful of being trapped home with a broken leg while they go to the Water Park!). Let’s hope this time goes better.
