Woah Neily!

Wow. So yesterday, weblogs all over Oregon were reporting that Neil Goldschmidt had resigned from pretty most much of his career. b!X ruminated on the Oregonian reporting that it was because of some heart trouble and comparing their coverage to that of Willamette Week, who said it was the result of some of their investigations.

This morning, listening to our morning radio station, we heard no news of this. Just news of the last “Friends” show. Thanks, Bill and Carrie- I knew we listened to you for something.

    I don’t think that the news can surprise me anymore. On a day when 10 marines were killed in Iraq the news lead with Michael Jackson turning himself in…they were live at the courthouse where he went in “just moments ago.” It sickens me. It sadens me.
