Double your Donation to FCCO
posted in General |At the moment, FCCO appears to have a good shot at one of the matching grants through the Willamette Week’s 2005 Give Guide. To win matching funds, we need everyone to give. Just $5 is all it takes.
If you haven’t donated yet, please consider doing so now. It only a couple minutes and yet can make a big impact on the Feral Cat Coalition of Oregon.
How do you donate? Go to the Willamette Week Website. Scroll down to Animal Welfare and click on Feral Cat Coalition of Oregon. At the bottom of their ad is a donation button. Click it and follow the directions from there.
Remember that, in addition to helping your favorite mobile spay/neuter program for feral cats in Oregon and SW Washington, you also get some nice gifts for yourself. Everyone who donates from now until the December 31,
2005, will receive 1 box of Powell’s After Reading Mints, 1 coupon for a free cuppa joe at Stumptown, 1 coupon good for 10% off at American Apparel, and 1 copy of Willamette Week’s Finder (while supplies last). You will also
qualify for all sorts of goodies like the Johnny Cash limited edition deluxe box set (a $300 value) and two chef’s meals at clarklewis.
And don’t forget: if you give more than $250 and live in the Portland metro area, Willamette Week will make a personal delivery to you of a six-pack of beer, a bottle of fine wine, and a full pound of Stumptown coffee. The
person who gives the most will get dinner for him/herself plus one guest with WW’s Editor, Mark Zusman, and Publisher Richard Meeker. You get to pick the restaurant, and if you like, they’ll publish an account of their meal
with you.
As a final reminder, there are matching grants totaling $4,000. These will go to the six nonprofits that receive the greatest number of gifts overall and the greatest number of gifts from people who are 35 and under. The minimum donation is just $5 and it could add up to much, much more for FCCO if we are the nonprofit who receives the most number of gifts.
