The Pink Panther

I’m mildly surprised. I remember watching Pink Panther cartoons when I was a kid, sitting at Dad’s house on the couch, watching the panther and the aardvark and even the Inspector. With our netflix subscription, we have instant downloads to show on the television (through the xbox), and the TT has been watching all the shorts. Most of them are only a few minutes long, and she’s really enjoying them. They’re pretty simplistic. She thinks the Panther is cute, and he’s certainly less malicious than, say Bugs Bunny.
It’s a completely different style of animation, hand drawn with sparse backgrounds. And while I didn’t remember the Panther smoking, there he was with a cigarette in its holder. I didn’t make a big deal over it; I don’t think the TT even noticed it.
