A Second Game

It pains me to learn that my Bard must be third level to learn a first level song. I think I should get an extra 4500 XP for speaking with the farmer’s daughter the way I did. At least, then I might be of some use (Bards get a Cure Light Wounds as a first level spell, at third level).

Anyway, we had another session last Saturday. It went — great. We had it at Cameron’s house. His wife was studying in the back room. I wish I had felt like she knew we didn’t bite, but she was absent for most of the game. I’d hate to be ousted for 10 hours like that. Rosco continues to write his letters though, and you might find them interesting.

I’ve been considering setting up a WIKI sort of interface for discussion about the game- you can see a great wiki on the web. Until I do that, or some other thang, just make a comment (over there, on the bottom right) to comment on the game.

first session!

We had a fabulous session on saturday. It got going a little late, and wound up a little late (a little too late, according to the non-gaming wives/girlfriends of some of our players:( ).

It’s obvious that I need to do some more research on playing a bard tho — I could have done that better. And more roleplaying.

A letter was found, later- you can read it here!

A beginning

Brookes is beginning a new Dungeons & Dragons campaign. It begins in the small town of Giantfall. I’ll be playing an annoying halfling bard named Rosco. (She wouldn’t approve the name Roscoe P. Coaltrain. Go Figure.) Anyway, the first game is this weekend. Check back to see how it goes.
